INTRIGUE

DUBOIS 80' SLOOP LAUNCHED 2005

Designed by Dubois Naval Architects, Intrigue is a performance 80’ sloop built for “social racing” and post-regatta entertaining. The interior and exterior of the yacht was built for simplicity and function, keeping lines and looks sleek and modern, minimising maintenance and ensuring race proficiency. Intrigue has since participated in numerous races and regattas with many successes.

To keep the yacht moving at speed, the mast and boom are carbon, built by Southern Spars, and the sail wardrobe includes a code zero and gennakers made by Doyle’s Sailmakers. The mainsheet is operated by a small toggle switch at the helm and there is no traveller; the leech control is by the powerful boom vang.

This is a repeat customer for Yachting Developments, the first yacht being a 60’ Alan Warwick design built in 2000 Intrigue 2.
